MISSION

As the philanthropic arm of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated, the M.O.D. Charitable Foundation (MODCF) is a 501(c)3 charity whose mission is to provide educational assistance and support for LGBTQ+ youth and young adults by offering programs and resources related to social services, career development, health initiatives, and mentorship. Donations and contributions are tax-deductible under IRC Section 170.

ABOUT MODCF

The MOD Charitable Foundation (MODCF) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established to advance the mission and community impact of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated through strategic philanthropy and programmatic investment. MODCF serves as the fundraising and grant-making arm that mobilizes financial resources to support evidence-informed initiatives and signature programs designed to improve outcomes for historically underserved communities.

We execute the Foundation’s mission through:

  • Managing endowments, gifts, and other donations given to promote MOD’s programs
  • Conducting fundraising campaigns
  • Sharing our successes through annual reports and other means
  • Promoting public awareness of the MOD Charitable Foundation
  • Advancing individual and cultural development opportunities through education and mentoring

QUEER MEN'S HEALTH INITIATIVES

In partnership with Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated, MODCF is committed to expanding access to education, fostering personal and professional development, cultivating leadership excellence, and promoting academic achievement among LGBTQIA+ individuals and other marginalized communities of color. Through collaborative partnerships, donor stewardship, and sustainable funding strategies, MODCF works to transform community needs into measurable impact.

The MOD Charitable Foundation (MODCF) succeeds through the generosity of friends, corporate and community supporters, and people like you. Generous contributions make it possible for individuals from across the United States of America to complete a program of study, secure career placement, or start or complete a research project. Your donations to the Foundation also support community service organizations and community service projects which target the communities in which we serve, including volunteer programs related to scholarship and academic pursuits. Making a difference would not be possible without the commitment and volunteer efforts of our donors and contributors.
