Honorary Member Dr. Brandon A. Moton is a public health scholar and researcher whose work focuses on advancing health equity through behavioral science, policy, and community-informed intervention. He earned a Doctor of Public Health in Behavioral Sciences and Health Education and a Master of Public Health in Health Policy and Management from Florida A&M University, as well as a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Florida State University.


Dr. Moton’s research examined sexual health disparities, sexual behaviors, and HIV prevention among racial and ethnic minorities, with particular emphasis on Black gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men. His scholarship explored the impact of hookup culture and social-media dating applications to reduce the research-to-practice gap through evidence-based programs and interventions.



Through his academic contributions and professional engagement with national public health organizations, Dr. Moton exemplified a commitment to research-driven advocacy and improved health outcomes. His work aligned with the values of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated through its focus on community health, equity, and empowerment.

Honorary Member Dr. Darryl Holloman is a distinguished higher education leader, scholar, and administrator who has served as Vice President for Student Affairs at Spelman College since 2018. His leadership advanced a comprehensive student life agenda focused on holistic growth, personal development, and academic success for Spelman students.


With more than 27 years of experience in higher education, Dr. Holloman brought an expansive portfolio spanning student affairs practice, institutional governance, and faculty leadership. His career included service at Rutgers University–Newark, the University of Arkansas–Little Rock, Columbus State University, Georgia State University, and Spelman College, as well as presentations at regional, national, and international conferences.


A respected scholar and author, Dr. Holloman’s research examined how cultural identity and distinction shape educational environments. His work and leadership were nationally recognized in 2023 when he was named a NASPA Pillar of the Profession. His legacy reflects a deep commitment to excellence, scholarship, and student-centered leadership, aligning with the values of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated.

Honorary Member Leslie Hall is a nationally recognized leader, strategist, and advocate who advanced LGBTQ equity and inclusion within higher education. He previously served as Director of the Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Program at the Human Rights Campaign Foundation, where he partnered with HBCU presidents and administrators to foster inclusive campus climates for LGBTQ students.


Leslie led the HRCF HBCU Leading in Truth Leadership Summit, a transformative program that provided LGBTQ HBCU students with leadership development and identity affirmation. His work has been featured in prominent outlets, including Black Enterprise, Blavity, The Washington Post, and Reuters, reflecting his influence at the intersection of education, policy, and social justice.


Grounded in scholarship and service, Leslie’s leadership reflects a deep commitment to representation, access, and institutional change. His work aligns with the values of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated, through his dedication to cultivating future leaders and affirming the lived experiences of Black LGBTQ students nationwide.

Honorary Member Bryant D. West is a dedicated educator, mentor, and community advocate whose work centers on empowering young people through education, service, and leadership. Inspired by a lifelong legacy of teaching and compassion, he brings empathy, structure, and purpose into every space he serves.


As an educator within the McComb School District, Bryant is known for cultivating meaningful learning environments that support academic growth, personal development, and student stability. His leadership is informed by the legacy of historically subversive organizations and cultural movements that have long shaped resilience, self-determination, and affirmation for African American queer males in the South.


Deeply committed to community advancement, Bryant lives by the principle of service above self. His passion for education, cultural affirmation, and youth advocacy reflects the core values of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated.

Honorary Member Ken Terrell is a respected leader and advocate with over 17 years of experience in HIV linkage to care and prevention. Known for his commitment to advancing health equity, he has made significant contributions to improving access to HIV and STI education and care within Black and Brown communities.



An active member of the City of Orlando Mayor’s Livability and Healthy Living Committee, Ken is dedicated to promoting wellness, safety, and quality of life for all. His work has been recognized in statewide publications and the BIA Network’s BIPOC in America. Ken embodies the values of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated through his integrity, leadership, and service to the community.

Honorary Member Fabian Nelson is a dedicated public servant, educator, and advocate serving Mississippi House District 66. He is widely recognized for his commitment to equity, access, and representation for historically marginalized communities across Mississippi.


With a strong background in education and community advocacy, Fabian brings a people-centered approach to public policy, championing initiatives that support education, access to healthcare, and civil rights. His leadership is grounded in service, accountability, and community empowerment.


As a trailblazer in public office, Fabian Nelson embodies integrity, courage, and purposeful leadership, aligning with the values of Men of D.I.S.T.I.N.C., Incorporated, through his unwavering commitment to justice and inclusive representation.

Honorary Member Dewayne Queen is the Director of LGBTQ Affairs for the City of Atlanta, where he serves as a key advisor within the Mayor’s Office of One Atlanta, advancing policies and programs that promote equity, visibility, and inclusion for LGBTQ communities. He is proud to be the second person appointed to this role in the city’s history. 


Dewayne brings over a decade of experience in corporate leadership, community engagement, and large-scale event production, including ten years at Delta Air Lines, where he most recently served as President of EQUAL, the company’s LGBTQIA+ Business Resource Group. A respected connector and strategist, Dewayne is known for building strong public-private partnerships, leading high-impact civic initiatives, and centering historically marginalized voices in city government. His work reflects a deep commitment to service, cultural celebration, and creating pathways of opportunity for future generations.
